Police keep their distance as Fred Sims, 27, backs down a Memphis, Tenn., street holding a hunting knife to chest of his son, Tony. Officers followed the man for blocks before overpowering him. Young Tony suffered lacerations on one hand. Capture climaxed a five-mile auto chase. The young boy had been taken from home following a quarrel between his parents. Earlier in the day Sims was fired from his job.
