Father of teenage girl arrested

Clark Wiley (second from left), 70, and his son John (second from right) leave a police station in Arcadia, Calif., early today after the father was booked for investigation of child abuse and released on $1,250 bail. Officers said Wiley's daughter, Susan, 13, had been kept in virtual isolation since birth, except for brief periods. Her mother, Irene, 50, also was booked and released on bail.
