[ca. 1861–1865]
From "War Memories" catalog: This view shows a detachment of the 50th New York Engineers making a road on the north side of the North Anna River, near Jericho Mills. In the background is seen the ammunition train of the Fifth Corps crossing the river on the pontoon bridge built by this engineer corps. All old soldiers of the Army of the Potomac remember the valuable services rendered by the 50th New York Engineer Corps.
