Fatal settlement

New York -- Police wheel the wrapped body of Katherina Thompson, 34, out of a marriage reconciliation bureau in the Jamaica area of New York's Queens borough Wednesday. Mrs. Thompson, a resident German alien, was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Kenneth Thompson, 35, who then put the gun muzzle in his mouth and killed himself. They were waiting to see a marriage counselor to see if their marriage could be saved before divorce proceedings continued.
