Engel in police show-up

Sigmund Z. Engel (right), 73-year-old confidence man with a 50-year record of preying on women, steps down from the stage at today's "show-up" at the Chicago detective bureau. Engel has been booked on confidence game charges upon the complaint of Mrs. Reseda Corrigan to whom he returned $5,000 of funds she asserted she gave him on his promise to marry her. Behind Engel are two unidentified police suspects.
