Empty Seats in the Sorting Room--Postal supervisor Fred Metzen works in room where normally 74 people are employed sorting mail on Saturday, but they stayed away from work after the Chicago Branch 11, National Association of Letter Carriers, voted to strike effective early today. Vote came in spite of agreement reached in Washington between the government and union's national leadership.
