George Fairbanks, 23, of Rowley, Mass., who confessed to Chicago police today, the strangulation murder of a 4-year-old boy on a bus near Green River, Wyo., a week ago today. He told police he abused the child, then strangled him and placed the body on the floor of the bus, covering it with his overcoat. In the morning, he said he called the drivers attention to the body. The body was removed at Green River, Fairbanks related, and at North Platte, Nebraska, Fairbanks was removed form the bus by police, and questioned, but released after denying he did the killing. He has ten dollars and bus ticket to Boston.
