Elopement ended by fatal bullet

Millington, Mich. - Marge Hallwood and Delaine Whitaker had their elopment ended with the girl being fatally wounded by a Harrisburg, Ill policeman. Whitaker is accused of reckless driving when he tried to allude officers who were chasing him for failing to stop at a stop sign. Margo is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hallwood.
