Mrs. Frances Marjorie Miller, 31, of Washington, Pa., who admitted she tried to hire a man to kill her husband for $500. Plot backfired when "assassin" she contacted turned out to be a deputy constable who arranged trap with state police. She said she thought she and her seven-year-old son would be "better off" without her husband. Mrs. Miller pleaded guilty to charge of solicitation to commit murder, was freed on $500 bond.
