Eddie Yost, Others in Baseball Trade-- Veteran third baseman Eddie Yost, right, outfielder Neil Chrisley, center, and shortstop Rocky Bridges, left, were traded by Washington Senators today to the Detroit Tigers for three players. Announcement was made by Senators’ president, Calvin Griffith. Yost has spent his entire baseball career with the Senators. He was captain of the club as well as chief player representative of the American League in dealing with club owners.
