Ed Gein, former Plainfield handiman, was found guilty 11/14 of first degree murder in the death of a Plainfield woman 11 years ago. The woman's decapitated body was found "dressed out like a deer" in a room in Gein's house. Gein spent 10 years in a mental hospital before being declared mentally competent to stand trial last spring.
