Dying Hurricane Dora sped toward its death 9/14 in the north Atlantic peppering the Rhode Island and Massachusetts coastlines with gale winds and rain. Dora is presently downgraded to a tropical storm with top winds of 50 to 60 miles per hour. Hurricane Ether, which brushed Bermuda 9/13, also was headed to the north Atlantic. Tropical storm Gladys intensified 9/14 into the season's fourth hurricane with 85 mile an hour winds. Newsmap indicates the general tracks of the three storms.
