Dust on the Plains -- Tumbleweeds and heaps of fine dirt are symbols of the drought gripping the plains country of Colorado and Kansas. Dust storms have ruined most of the winter wheat crop in eastern Colorado and western Kansas, and more flying dust whipped the dry farm regions again yesterday. This view was made on a farm in southeastern Colorado.
