Duane Marvin Anders, (center) 17-yr-old senior high school honor student tells detectives how he shot his father with a .22 rifle and then covered body with hay in family barn, set barn on fire. Although youth claims that shooting was accidental authorites placed a first degree murder charge against him. Clackamas County Sheriff Joe Shobe, Anders, and Lt. Howard Benninghoff, arson squad chief, Oregon State Police.
