Dry Land Bridge--Only a trickle of water flows under this bridge that spans the Boonton Water Reservoir in northern New Jersey as a wide expense of baked mud shows the results of prolonged drought. Water levels in reservoirs throughout the eastern half of the nation were dwindling as a record-shattering autumn drought continued.
