Deputy Sheriffs sweep the area after violence erupted following a National Chicano Moratorium Antiwar Rally. Deputies ordered all persons off the streets in a five-square block area. Two dozen persons were injured, two of them seriously. Almost all the windows in the shopping area were broken. Several buildings were set on fire. One of them burned to the ground.
