Two years of research at Ottawa University by associate professor Dr. Pearl Weinberger (L) has resulted in evidence that wheat growth is sharply accelerated when "excited" by the high pitched whine of single-cycle audible-sound at certain frequency levels. Here with assistant Mrs. Mary Measures she inspects such seedlings which register about 3 times the growth of non-"excited" seedlings.
