Coyuca de Catalan, Guerrero, Mexico: Mopping up operations following Mexico's severe earthquake were concentrated here 7/7 here where several towns were virtually destroyed. At least 28 persons were reported dead and more than 70 injured by the temblor which jolted the length and breadth of Mexico 7/6. Mercy flights started bringing in injured earthquake victims as the death toll continued to mount as communications were gradually reestablished with remote areas. Health teams were also sent out with antibiotics.
