Dr. Lillian E. Dimmitt has taught at Morningside College here for 65 years, as long as the average American lives. Dr. Dimmitt, now 92, was honored at the school's commencement 6/1. She's saved all of her grade books over the years and is shown here with just a few. She reports old grads who return ask her not to show their marks to their grandchildren who now study at Morningside. She teaches Latin and Greek, having started in 1893.
