Cincinnati: A five year old lad, Jack Baker, is alive today because of the quick action of these doctors who happened upon the accident scene after young Baker had been struck by an auto. On the spot, with a borrowed penknife and the barrel of a ball-point pen, Dr. Mary ann Solomon (left) and Dr. Emilio Ferrara (right) performed a tracheotomy. Dr. Earl Solomon (left) informed the hospital as to the nature of the boy's condition via police radio back at the scene of the Accident.
