Uphill road across a moor; at left, a cluster of trees one broken in the middle, and bushes shaken by a violent wind that strips them of their leaves; rain in the sky. The clod of earth upon which was rooted the broken tree comes off in black on the following plan; much work added in the bushes, in the banks of the road and in the sky.
