Anne Carlsen, who was born without hands or feet and who is superintendent of the North Dakota Crippled Childrens' School at Jamestown, N.D., was named Handicapped American of the Year for 1958. She will receive the President's Trophy from Vice-President Richard Nixon May 17 during annual meeting of President's Committee on Employment of Physically Handicapped in Washington.
