Count fights extradition to Mexico

French count jean gaston bourdillon de queylar, (left) accused of slaying his american-born wife in mexico, confers with his attorney al matthews today after posting a $100,000 bond pending extradition hearing january 20th. De queylar's wealthy wife, marguerite, 62, was found drowned in a bathtub in cuernavaca last july, four days after she made a new will leaving all except $5,000 of her $250,000 estate to her 46-year-old husband. The count was arrested in los angeles dec. 16 on a complaint by the mexican government, which was given 30 days in which to produce evidence to support its extradition request.
