The new DTL electric car is shown here 8/15, with its inventor Douglas Dow (left), and his daughter Caroline, 18, (right). The electric car is powered by two electric motors of one third horsepower each. The motors are driven by two conventional truck batteries which permit the car to run about 30 miles on a single charge. The car has a top speed of 20 miles an hour.
