Douglas Cooper Godfrey, 15, (left) is led into chambers of Oakland County Probate Judge Donald Adams for a hearing late 2/6 by unidentified police official. Bloomfield Township police said 1/5 that Godfrey confessed that he deliberately shot and killed his 38-year-old mother 1/25 with a "sniper shot" through the kitchen window of the family's $35,000 home in exclusive Bloomfield Township. Authorities said first degree murder charges are being drawn up against the 15-year-old.
