Costello's Abbott Turns To Drama - Bud Abbott (left) of the old Abbott and Costello comedy team, talks with his son, Bud Jr., as he checked in at Universal Studios in Hollywood to begin a new phase in his career: he's playing a dramatic role for the first time. He'll play a cynical actor's agent in a G.E. Theater play on television. Lou Costello died several years ago. Bud Jr. works in the studio's accounting department.
