The left bank of the tidal inlet on which there are several houses and sheds. In the foreground are two boats moored to the bulkhead, the larger with an awning. This is the plate that, after some drypoint work in the upper right-hand part of the composition, has been steel-faced and used as the frontispiece for this book [Cortissoz].
