Death mystery
[ca. January 1945]
Victim of mysterious death, the body of Mrs. Hazel C. Kalix, 25, Lawrence divorcee and war worker, inset, was found early yesterday on snowbank on shores of Searle Pond, Methuen. General view of scene is shown above, with closeup at right. She was the mother of a 10-year-old daughter. Body was discovered by Paul M. Russon, Lowell, driving by. Medical examiner found no evidence of violence.
