Mrs. Theresa Butler, who was pronounced dead, an apparent suicide, when she was found in the bathtub of her San Francisco home, and who showed signs of life on arrival at the morgue, is shown still hanging on to the slim thread of life in San Francisco Hospital. She is attended here by nurse Ruth Wright. Doctors said that even if Mrs. Butler should survive, she would be only a "human vegetable" because of damage to her nervous system during her death-like coma.
