Jill Rosean (left) 17-year-old San Rafael, Calif., high school junior, has donated part of her pelvis and hip bones so her sister, Leslie, 7 (right) can lead a normal life. Jill volunteered to give up the bone necessary to replace damage done to her sister's shoulder blade by a tumor. Dr. William L. Clark said Jill is recovering from the delicate bone removal operation in Marin General Hospital. If everything goes right, Leslie will receive the bone grafts next week. The bone grafts were placed in a special deep freeze until they can be transferred to the sister. Dr. Clark said Jill is young enough that the cut bones can grow back again.
