New york -- mrs. alexandria szerwinska, 73, weeps in court in new york where her daughter is accused of beating the elderly woman. the felonious assault charge against the daughter, mrs. mary drabicki, 51, was reduced to simple assault and she is free in $1,000 bail pending trial. mrs. szerwinska, a pole, was a captive in a russian detention camp for nine years before coming to the united states.
