Dad aids son-in-law he charged with abduction

When Paul Petrucci, 21 came up for a hearing in Brooklyn felony court today on a charge of abducting his 17-year-old wife, he was defended by an attorney retained for him by the man who brought the charge-his father-in-law. Paul is shown with his wife, eugenia leaving Brooklyn felony court arm-in-arm after the hearing. the couple ran away a week ago over bitter opposition of the bride's father, john Raimondo .when he discovered they had eloped, the irate father asked a warrant for Petrucci's arrest. later he relented when he saw how happy the couple appeared and retained the lawyer to defend Petrucci.
