About half of the 200 students at Franklin, N.H., High School walked out of their classroom yesterday protesting the School Board's failure to renew the teaching contracts of Mrs. Lillian Davidson, 44 (right) and Mrs. Madeline Pickess, 36 (left). Today (April 10) the Franklin School Board ordered all schools closed for the rest of the week as some parents joined protest against the dismissal.
