Constance Smith

Constance Smith. Director of the Radcliffe Institute for Independent Study, Dr. Smith is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, and received her Master's Degree and Doctorate at Radcliffe, completing her studies there in 1951. A Fulbright Fellow of the London School of Economics in 1951-52, she has participated in numerous seminars both here and abroad in economics, politics and international affairs. She has held instructorships and professorships in political science and government at Wheaton College, Douglass College, and the Institute of Politics, Rutgers University, and is a former Dean of Wheaton College.
