Custody Hearing Brings Tears - Actress Edie Adams, widow of comedian Ernie Kovacs, tries to comfort Bette Lee Kovacs, 15, after a Los Angeles Superior court custody hearing yesterday during which the girl testified she wanted to remain with Miss Adams. The emotional hearing also brought tears to Mrs. Bette Kovacs, first wife of Kovacs and mother of Bette Lee and Kippie Raleigh, 13, whose custody she is seeking. The hearing will resume Tuesday.
