Perhaps there is no other street in any city as unique as Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. Beginning at the beautiful Public Gardens, where private mansions and exclusive clubs and hotels line its picturesque way, it continues out through a prosperous automobile centre, to a large apartment district, and thence to Newton.
