Commemorate Pontiff’s 80th Birthday--Some 1,000 high school girls form a cross in the Polo Grounds, as part of religious ceremony commemorating 80th birthday anniversary of Pope Pius XII. At left at base of cross is statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. At far side of the circular stand, at intersection of the cross, sits Francis Cardinal Spellman. At top, right, is a representation of the Pope, displayed by 150 girls holding placards. At horizontal ends are displays of the Papal coat of arms.
