Commemorate Adam's Birthday at his Monument. Here is a monument to that man who first ate an apple - Adam himself. It is situated near Baltimore, Md., and was constructed in 1909 by the late John P. Brady. Brady had computed the date of Adam's birth at Oct. 28, 400 B.C., and now, Nick Bione, who owns part of Brady's former estate, celebrates the great day every year by giving the shaft a coat of paint. This year, however, he was a little late in getting around to it, but it was finally done. Photo shows document, with a visitor.
