The descendants of President John Adams and Quincy Adams, who are in Washington for the opening of exhibition of Adams portraits at the National Portrait Gallery of Smithsonian Institution, were received by President Nixon in the Blue Room of the White House 11/5. Here, John Quincy Adams (right), a descendant and 20-year-old student at Harvard, bears a resemblance to his namesake, shown in a John Copley portrait (left) at the age of 28.
