Below, on the right, in the foreground, is Schumann playing the piano. Passing by his left is a figure of Fame with a trumpet to its lips. Both figures are almost seen from behind. Above, on the right, an angel stands and holds a crown. In front of it, almost in the middle, is another seated angel playing the lyre. Between them, is the appearance of two faces emerging from the clouds. Behind the angel with the lyre is a man's face and a figure of a woman sitting, listening.
