Collapse of Market Place During Storm Kills Many -- Seventy dead were taken from the market place at Les Cayes, Haiti. They were crushed to death when the iron beam roof structure collapsed during the time hurricane Cleo's 100-mile winds struck the island. The storm destroyed or damaged nearly every building in this city.
