Sheriff Louis Mountanos revealed today that Clifford Fortner, 15, above, of Kentfield, Calif., had confessed killing Lorna Lax, 12, in a thicket near her Kentfield home Nov. 15. Mountanos said Fortner told of killing the young girl with a steak knife. Fortner was one of several boys, reported members of a sex club of which Lorna was the only girl member, who had been questioned at great length.
