Cleveland, O.: Like a stringless kite a plastic protective window was blown from a high floor on the north side of the Erieview Tower. Gale winds blew through here 3/5, knocking over people and trucks, blowing down wires and trees and breaking windows. Winds were measured around 50 mph, with gusts up to 85.
