Clear Field for Players at Polo Grounds--Pittsburgh and New York Giant players walk off to clubhouse after game today, without interference or mingling with fans who used to join them on the trek. Commissioner A.B. Chandler, in lifting Manager Leo Durocher’s suspension yesterday, after he allegedly struck a fan, warned the Giants management it must provide better protection for the players by keeping spectators off the diamond until teams reached the dugout.
