Dr. Katherine A. Nye, 77 (left) and her sister, Dr. Lillian Nye, 79, who have served a total of more than 100 years in medicine, beam Wednesday night as they receive medals and certificates representing University of Minnesota Outstanding Achievement Awards. The sisters, natives of Zumbrota and graduates of the university, both have held medical positions in St. Paul.
