Cincinnati – Wrecking Crew – These four Milwaukee Braves set major league mark today slugging four homers in succession. Eddie Mathew (right center) started the home run parade in the seventh inning and Hank Aaron (left center) followed – both off starter Jim Maloney. Reliever Marshall Bridges took over and Joe Adcock (left) and Frank Thomas (right) followed with their big hits. Mathews also hit another homer his next try but the big effort was wasted; Cincinnati took a 10-7 victory.
