Celtics Star Tells of Negro Boycott- Bill Russell, a star of the world's champion Boston Celtics basketball team talks with newsmen today about the Negro boycott of Boston public schools. Russell spoke to some of the estimated 3,000 children who stayed away from regular classes but attended special sessions called by Negro leaders. Children were asked to stay away from regular classes today by their parents in protest against what the said was actual if not legal segregation.
