For the first time since World War II a "Miss Poland" beauty contest was held August 3, with 25 entrants from as many provincial elections. The winner "Miss Polonia 1957" was Miss Alicja Bobrowska, 21, a student of the higher dramatic school in Krakow. She will soon leave for a tour of the United States and Canada with the Polish satirical theatre "Wagabunda."
