Choir boy held in her slaying

Roanoke, Va.... A husky 16-year-old high school wrestler, who sang in his church choir today was charged with the parish house murder of blond Dana Marie Weaver (shown) his schoolmate. The girl was beaten and choked to death in the parish house of Christ Episcopal Church Sunday night. The boy, Lee Goode Scott gave detectives a statement after more than six hours of questioning. Police Court Judge Samuel R. Price swore out the murder warrant and Scott was held without bond.
