Cazzie The Court Celebrity – Cazzie Russell prepares to sign autographs Friday for nurses at Roosevelt Hospital in New York. Cazzie, one of the stars of the New York Knickerbockers basketball team, broke his left wrist Thursday night at Madison Square Garden in game against the Baltimore Bullets. The Knicks lost the game and Cazzie’s services for six weeks. His arm is in a Melrose Sling. Purpose of the sling is to relieve the weight of a heavy cast to put less strain on the shoulder muscles. Nurses not identified.
